My name is Mike O’Connell and I live in Northern Virginia. I moved here in 2011 after spending most of my life in upstate New York.<\/p>\n
I have several different jobs. Most days I’m either teaching or playing music. By day I’m a teacher for the Loudoun County (Virginia) Public School district. I was also an adjunct college professor for seven years. Some terms I taught political science, some terms I taught history, and some terms I taught some combination of both. I now teach math. Go figure. Literally.<\/p>\n
In my other life I am a musician. My main instrument is the piano, and I’m a songwriter as well. You can check out my musical offerings on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc.<\/p>\n
