It wasn’t real until right now

The writing has been on the walls for years, but now it just got real.

Final proof that “TV” is over and streaming is the official means by which we consume visual media.

According to my sources, no “television” station is airing the Charlie Brown Halloween special (“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”) this Halloween season. No PeanutsĀ Thanksgiving or Christmas episodes this year either, but for the folks at Apple TV+, who apparently own the rights to all thingsĀ Peanuts TV.

Say “what time?” or “what channel is that?” and we know what century you’re from, Boomer.
